Yesterday I left Davao City late in the afternoon for Tandag, Surigao del Sur that I decided to spend the night in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur. While travelling, I asked a friend to find me a hotel in the place - she mentioned some - Paseo de San Francisco Suites, Novotel, Sligo Hotel - but there were no telephone numbers to call for booking.
I chose Paseo de San Francisco without even seeing it. From the bus terminal, I asked a pedicab to send me to the said hotel which is just along the highway, and across the Catholic church building (I paid Php7). The place great and the fron desk attendant was very courteous and accommodating. I took a single room for P580.00, and the room was very clean, only quite small. I had my breakfast at the hotel's restaurant in the ground floor - the typical rice with fried bangus, sunny side-up and watermelon at Php 110, but of course there are other stuff in the menu to choose from (Filipino and American).
I got their brochure with the following information:
Tariff: Standard rooms: Single -Php 580, Double - Php 780; Deluxe Rooms: Twin Bed - Php 880, Twin Suite - Php 998, Queen Suite - Php 998; Executive Suite Rooms: King Suite - Php 1,800, Family Suite - Php 1,980, Presidential Suite - Php 1,980; Extra Bed - Php 250, Extra Person - Php150.
Amenities: Ample parking space, airconditioned rooms, international cable tv, hot and cold shower, keycard lock system, 24-hr standby generator, PABX telephone system, room and laundry services... and above all, the hotel has Wi-Fi connections!
For inquiries their numbers are : (085)343-8048, 0999-309-1065, 0919-470-6363; email - paseo_suites@yahoo.com.
I still have to try the other hotels the next time I would decide to spend the night in that town, but with the super low rate, convenience and cleanliness of Paseo, I would recommend it to others. :)
Thanks for the info.we're planning to stay on jan21,'16 b4 proceeding to britania islands.cheers
